Thank you to everyone who supported the Interclub Challenge Match 2019, hosted by the RRCS so tartan and satires were the theme of the day! All 4 clubs took part with almost a full compliment on each team which was fabulous!
Our judge was breed specialist Dorothy McGoldrick (Villagedogs) all the way from Belgium who found her Best in Match in Keith Alexander’s Kansenji Noor from the Open class. Reserve Best in Match went to Heidi Parsons’ Priorpark Pot Kettle Black from Junior - both were from team GB so very well done!
The Graduate class was won by Barnes’ Diamondridge Di Caprio representing the SRRA who also won the Veteran class with Geeves’ Ch Roseridge Royal Romeo (IMP SWE) (AI).
The Champion class was won by team MNRRC with Catharell’s Ch Faahac Free N’Easy JW ShCM.
The atmosphere ringside was great and the day packed with lots of laughs & camaraderie between exhibitors. Lunch went down very well as did the cakes and tablet! The whisky fundraiser for rescue totaled £95 which is fabulous! A special mention to all the RRCS committee for the hard work involved before and during the match & also to our volunteers who made the day fun - we couldn't do it without you!
